Where To Live In Humboldt County Ca

Greetings from northern Thailand Cambodia Vietnam

September 14, 2010 (Bangkok Airport),

Seventeen days are definitely not enough to know a tan Pease rich in culture, humanity, generosity and beauty as Cambodia.
This country gave me an unforgettable memory, a piece of my heart is still there and we will make sure that we will return soon ...
Cambodia has a rich history of grandeur: the Angkor dynasty has created in the ninth to twelfth centuries a great empire, made of great temples, wealth and prosperity. This can be seen today by visiting the remains of several civilizations scattered throughout the country, but most are concentrated in a few kilometers from the modern town of Siem Riepe, in the northwest of the country, today, millions of tourists visit the remains of what was a great empire: Angkor.
The temples of Angkor are one of the wonders that along with the Taj Mahal or Hampi in India, Borobuduru in Indonesia, the forest of Taman Negara in Malaysia, we are going back in time and brought back to civilization, times and cultures that now form part of past, but that leave indelible marks and through the remains that we are fortunate to see both within us, making us feel a living part of this incredibly beautiful land.
Cambodia is without doubt one of the countries where I think I come back, as I said at the beginning two weeks are not enough to know a nation and even more so when it gives you so much available, affection and generosity of its inhabitants.
The food then is another factor that undoubtedly contributes to that we remain a pleasant memory of the trip, you can not bore you with the local Cambodian dishes, dishes rich in spices and aromas that make it unique and tasty dishes.

Phenm Phon, the capital, is a lively, colorful and cheerful. Important to visit the genocide museum to understand the carnage that this population has undergone only a few years ago and the civil war that has left indelible marks in the memory of these people.
The National Museum also offers important historical remains of prehistoric and figures of Buddha dating from the eleventh and twelfth centuries. The beautiful palace with a collection of gold, silver and other precious materials owned by the ancient emperors of Ankgor era, including the only specimen of the female Buddha covered in gold and diamonds, something amazing. Cambodia

In addition to cultural tourism and can relax in one of its beautiful islands in the south of the country. We spent 4 days in complete relaxation in the so-called "rabbit island (Rabbit Island), due to its peculiar shape resembling a rabbit. The sunsets from the island are a delight to shudder.

Cambodia gave me a wonderful memory, its green landscapes and plans, the smile and affection of its inhabitants, tourism esplotato still not make it a perfect way obliged to a trip to the South East Asia.
