Shower Door Hinge Sleeve

August 26, 2010.

Twenty-four days are enough to get to know Vietnam. It is the time we spent traveling from south to north and from north to south in this country that extends in length to more than 2000 km. Here our group of three people became more numerous with the arrival of the family Borras. For two weeks we have had the pleasure of traveling with the family of Jordi complete: father, mother and brother. Of course, given their presence could not travel as usual, without having organized the trip in advance, so we took advantage of the long stay in Hanoi, five days in the chaotic city to better organize their two weeks and see as much as possible using the tour of the many travel agencies in the country, that both facilitate travel of tourists for a limited time.
Unfortunately for me it was not possible to see Sinead, she was in Vietnam in recent days but the different travel itinerary has not made the meeting possible, a pity my friend, but I hope to see you soon in another occasion or another trip.

between north and south of the country we see a whopping difference in character of the people. While in the south are more sociable, cheerful, friendly and affable, in the north we have not had positive experiences with some people. Although not wanting to generalize, is easily seen that the people of the north and colder, antisocial, arrogant and ignorant in the south. Despite this, in the north of Vietnam and can be found in idyllic locations, such as the area of \u200b\u200bSapa in the north west of the country, where different ethnic groups live in villages where the living rice terraces built up naturally verdant hills overlooking a incredible natural beauty. The Halong Bay to the east of Hanoi, which is the natural emblem of Vietnam, with more than 2000 small islands that stretch out comfortably in the green of Halong Bay, where natural caves of extraordinary beauty surprising sight of tourists. The green hills of Ninh Binh and the boat ride on banks of the green mountains surrounding the valley of Tam Coc, another experience to live.

The history of the country represented by several cultural landmarks in the capital, Hanoi, as the temple of literature, where tens of centuries ago, the best students across the country were called to study within its walls and learned important lessons on Confucianism.
The mausoleum and residence of Ho Chi Minh, the most important historical and political character of the country that led to the independence of Vietnam from French rule and founded the bases of socialism, which leads to a cultural and economic development as well as to give a ' their identity to the nation. Very interesting

was also to visit the ancient Vietnamese capital, the city of Hue, steeped in history and culture. ENom's beauty are the graves of ancient emperors of the Nguyen dynasty, the old city of Hue, which retains fortalezza city, now under restoration, the temple pagoda Buddhist emblem of the city and the local market with its colors and flavors, obligatory stop to discover the culinary products typical of the renown Vietnamese cuisine.

To understand the history of Vietnam with its wars, first with the French and Americans after the visit to the tunnel Cuchin, 3 hours away from Saigon, is a unique experience to understand how the Vietnamese live in times of war. The construction of underground tunnels, which can be visited today, allowed the guerrillas in the south to defend against attacks by the Americans.

interesting is the visit to the temple of the Cao Dai sect, the combination of Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism to form the new religion to one that does not reach 100 years of age but keeps in the town of ' sect of the same name, one of the most spectacular temples and colorful of the Asian continent.

is certain that nobody can be bored in Vietnam, there are many things to see, food to taste, experience a living, but is one of the countries that once saw not go back there again. In my personal opinion, Vietnam lacks the charm that no I know that would make the traveler falls in love and out of the country with the desire to come back sooner or later, as I happened to other Asian countries. It will be for its small size, or treatment with the tourists by the locals, or the lack of a consolidated means pride or patriotic, or is for these reasons that I leave with memories of Vietnam a country which, it is worth visiting once in a lifetime, its natual landscapes and unique for its delicious food, but apart from that, I left an indelible mark in my heart as it was for India, Malaysia or the beaches or the cultural diversity of Indonesia.

Now we headed to Phnom Penh, the capital of another country with a peculiar history of glorious moments and other disasters like civil war ending the genocide in the years 70-80 from which this country is still in recovery phase: the Cambodia.

To be continued ...

Tucson Gay Cruise Spots

Goodbye Good Morning Vietnam

August 9, 2010,

a week has passed since we set foot on Vietnamese soil. The desire to change the country was great, even if the month and a half in Indonesia has enriched us of faces, landscapes, culture and new friends, we were already locked in this huge archipelago.

The arrival in Ho Chi Minh City (or Saigon) was accompanied as usual now in our journey on arrival in a new location, from monsoon rain. We return to the north of the equator where there is still active in the monsoon this time of year traveling around the countries of Southeast Asia and India.

Saigon now seems a very active city, the streets are lit by neon signs that advertise restaurants, hotels, bars and karaoke. Here the young people as a diversion to sing everyday, we see that the slogan of "Anchors Aweigh" is a very strong cultural mark here. I think this is fascinating, in some European countries should do the same thing, instead of closing the pub to drink from 6 pm to 2 am forgetting the stresses and misfortunes of life, if you close in a private room singing happy songs and nostalgic perhaps the stomachs of many people right now would suffer less. We remain

2 nights in Saigon, here we meet Kevin, a boy of 25 years to guide us in the city shows its cultural, culinary and even accompanying us to do some shopping. They were dressed only stuff months in India and Malaysia now that we feel out of place to dress this way .. We need a real change of vestuario in Vietnam and we took advantage of cheap prices and excellent quality to make important changes to our wardrobe.

The route that we are here in Vietnam reflects the fact that arrive here on August 12 Jordi's parents. The problem is that they will land in Hanoi is located in the far north of the country, but we arrived in Saigon in the opposite tip. Vietnam is a country that extends to 1700 km wide. So we only have 10 days to cover the whole ground scriscia, visiting some places we do not repeat their parents, Jordi, and return to Saigon, where they will take the plane back to Barcelona.

For this reason, the trip to Vietnam was to tell the truth, we had to (or better Jordi had to) plan ahead, and not while driving as it was for other countries. Having parents
Only 2 weeks to visit the country could not find us confused and decide on places to visit along the way, we lost a lot of time. So, already two weeks ago, Jordi began to study the Lonely Planet Vietnam and decide the route with and without parents.

These are the destinations we visit:

August 2-4: Ho Chi Minh City
4-6: Nha Trang
7-8: Hoi An
8-9: Ninh Binh-Hoa Lu-Tom Coc
9 - 12: Hanoi (arrival parents Jordi)
12-15: Halong Bay
15-17: Sapa
17-18: Hanoi
18-20: Hue
21-25: Ho Chi Minh City (Mekong Delta, Cu Chi Tunnels)
25: Departure of parents Jordi
25 to 30 still we do not know what to do, we will probably already in Cambodia.

Travel in Vietnam is very easy for Western tourists. Each resort is packed with Travel Agency that will fully prepare your trip if you do not have the desire or time to do it, or you sell tickets to travel by train or bus on time. Most buses make the trip at night and there's sleepers bus with fully reclining seats that let you sleep really well on the journey that lasts all night. The price of these varies from 14 to $ 20 per person, for a distance between 700 and 1000 km.

Today we are August 9 and we have already visited the seaside city of Nha Trang where, to be Actually, there was not much to see and the beach with the ocean was not very good. The town that I really liked is Hoi An, in the center of the country. Here the old town has retained some old houses with Vietnamese and Japanese architecture and Chinese households owning these old house lets you visit and guide you inside the different rooms. In the old town of Hoi An are many souvenir shops and romantic restaurants in Vietnamese cuisine. Paying a ticket for 90,000 dong (3.5 €) you can visit five of the 18 premises visited the public, such as the ancient city of homes, congregations Cantonese or Thai or Japanese, local museums (Museum of Hoi An, ceramics museum of culture, tradition and folklore), an ancient Japanese-style bridge over 1000 years and some style Buddhist or Taoist temples. Here we rented bikes and we ventured into the outskirts of the city until you reach the wide beach of China Beach, a 30 km long strip of sand under attack from local tourism in this time of year.

beaches in Vietnam are a little disappointing, the color of the sand is not white as described in the various guides and the sea, or rather, the ocean is often rough and brown. There are some places where you can go snorkeling or scuba diving but you have to take private boats are not easily accessible, then decided to go the bathroom and swim in search of sea turtles and colorful fish.

From Hoi An we move to Ninh Bihn, 2 hours from Hanoi in the north. The town itself does not have anything nice to visit, but it is the starting point for excursions in a unique and breathtaking. A 10 km from the city is Tam Coc and Hoa Lu, two villages that are surrounded by huge green mountains around the area. Around hundreds of verdant rock masses villagers treat the rice fields that make the incredibly green landscape. At Tam Coc you can take a tour of 2 ½ hours on a boat (80,000 dong = 3.2 €) which runs a river which enters in the rice fields and green hills that surround the valley Ninh Bihn. Of course all the way we did it by bike (about forty miles in a day). Seeming to Ninh Bin at 10 am, we walked 12 km to reach the Tam Coc, visits to local temples, pagodas, the ancient capital of Hoa Lu in the evening and return to Ninh Binh.

Now, as I write in a local bus, we travel to Hanoi, the capital of the country, 2 hours by local bus, which stops every 5 minutes to pick up people that is located anywhere on the road. In Asia (leaving aside some countries), the lack of an efficient public transport. Removed the station of departure and arrival there are no intermediate stops, the bus stops every time he sees people wait in the street, so often, and goes to 50-60 km per hour, listen to a screeching halt because some travelers expect this or another bus on the street. That is, each bus is equipped with plastic bags to collect the passengers vomiting with the stomach more sensitive to careless braked, accelerated, overtaking the drivers that sometimes I do not even have a driver's license, which happens at this time just to Mrs. old sitting in front of me.

How To Slow Down Speed On Vba

Indonesia Selamat Tinggal

adventure in Indonesia is coming to an end. Tomorrow we will leave this country to begin a new adventure ever in Southeast Asia. It will be the turn of Vietnam, a country that fascinates us particularly, for its past, its culture and people said to be very friendly, especially in the north.
left Indonesia a bit with like, a little wistfully. It is a country that has given us a lot, its very nice people, their friendliness and respect for the tourist, beautiful landscapes, the blend of culture, religion and tradition in this archipelago of thousands of islands different from each other.

The last two weeks we spent traveling to Java, the third largest island in the Indonesian archipelago and the island which hosts the capital Jakarta.
leaving Bali, we visited the volcanoes that inhabit this island, including Djeng and Ijen Plateau, with its rich craters sulfide and the Martian environment, but what fascinated us most, the most beautiful ever was Bromo, a unique place in the world. Four volcanoes, two of which are active in the same green expanse forming a frame just for those who decide to visit this idyllic grandeur of nature in central Java. It is worth waking up at three in the morning, do a little hiking an hour and a half and wait for the sunrise from a point where you see the four craters in a breathtaking landscape.
delighted by this wonderful experience to Bromo, on the way to Yojyakarta, a small incident has made the journey lost monotony. From the pocket of the backpack, surprisingly disappears from my wallet with all my travel documents, credit cards, sim cards and cash. The biggest problem in these cases is the loss of the passport, without it you can not move the country in two weeks and I had to fly to Vietnam.
But thanks, I must say the truth, my speed and excellent problem solving skills, learned in the course of my life, everything has a solution in time (well almost everything, tomorrow I go to withdraw permission to leave the country by ' Immigration Office in Jakarta). However, I am always of the opinion that the problems can be solved as they come. Once you have lost everything need not cry, do not you back or you do not reappear for the Holy Spirit what you missed, so, one takes stock of the situation and see how to solve the problem. When you arrive at Yoyjakarta I first canceled the credit cards (we were missing just that I've stolen all the millions in the bank from the station !!!), I made where I have a document certifying loss of objects. With that document, I went the day after the local police station to report the incident. With the complaint in hand call the Italian Embassy in Jakarta which I say that because I am traveling in different countries I had to redo the passport and that meant waiting two or three weeks. Of course I had all this time, I need a passport within 10 days. After submitting all the required documents that I e-mail (complaint, passport application form, passport copy old), the embassy for his part he needed clearance from the police of Taranto, where my old passport was issued, and an authorization to proceed with the issuance of again by the Italian Embassy in Barcelona, \u200b\u200bas registered in the AIRE (Association of Italians living abroad). Two institutions in two different countries had to respond to a fax sent from Indonesia with the signature of the delegate to ensure that the embassy in Jakarta could do emetttere the new document. One thing, in a country where everything works, where bureaucracy is fast and people working with professional, cost more than 1-2 days, the case of an emergency ... well, since we are talking about Italian institutions, including one south, the time stretched to three weeks, 21 days to respond to a fax we realize?? What that would mean that the citizens of the State concerned on the other side of the world, undocumented and dinero, would lose the aircraft and should have stayed in Jakarta to wait for replies from the authorities with all the economic costs of the case .. .. everything wrong with me, so I put the hands of the contacts and the day after I got in touch with Daniel Perrucci, big piece of the Carabinieri of Salerno, and Rosa Llurba, administrative manager of the Italian Camara of Commerce of Barcelona . The two of them with great affection and patience have contacted with the respective institution English and Italian to accelerate time. The authorization from the embassy arrived in Barcelona after 1 day and cleared by the police after four days of Taranto. On Monday, after a week from happening I called the embassy in Jakarta to tell me that they had all the necessary documents to proceed with the release of the new passport and that I could withdraw on July 30, my birthday!
Now, the time now, I have a passport with a new number and new date of issue will be the date of birth of the undersigned ... ijijijij

Apart from that annoying hiccup, the adventure has a Java seen fluttering with the bikes in the suburbs of Yoyjakarta to visit various Buddhist and Hindu temples that are located in those areas. The complex Boroboduru us really fascinating. Hundreds of Buddhas and stupas placed on a pyramid, Chichen Itza stylus, represent the universe in the land according to ancient Hindu-Buddhist philosophy. One of the most important monuments in the world heritage of UNESCO.

Yojyakarta rest 5 days in the company of Vincent, a Belgian guy known to Ijen Plateau, and with him we turn the city, the temples and relax in the quiet tourist town of Yogya.

before going to Jakarta, where tomorrow will take the plane to Ho Chi Minh City, only to pass, the ancient capital of the state, Bogor, where he delights us a nice walk in the largest botanical garden in the capital, and finally arrive at the capital, where we visit the National Monument, a large obelisk located in the center of a huge square surrounded by trees and offers a breathtaking view of the city from the tower ; the National Museum, a collection of ceramics, precious objects, skeletons of prehistoric finds, artillery, statues and objects typical indonesia.

The city of Jakarta is incredibly modern, the people here are different from the rest of the population, you see more cosmopolitan, more snobbish. There is a contrast reflected also looking at the prices of things are higher than the rest of the country, is the price of modernity and economic development ...

Tomorrow will begin a new adventure, the adrenaline is already a thousand, who knows what will meet in this new country, how will the people, food, landscapes, air ... the idea of \u200b\u200barriving in a ' other country makes this unique journey is like being reborn every time he arrives at a port or airport again, is the essence of life, the experience of what is in the world, to grasp all its fruits ...

For the moment, "Terima Kasih" Indonesia for welcoming us into your arms. Until next time!
